Social Media Ambassador Scheme
As part of its ongoing support of A Focus On Nature, Opticron is inviting all members to “bid” for the ownership of optics gear. To coincide with the publication of the AFON newsletter, all members have the chance to submit a proposal for how they would use and publicise the use of Opticron equipment. It might be that there’s a project you’re involved in that needs binoculars, that your local Wildlife Trust needs a dozen magnifiers for educational outreach work or a sea watch that you’re planning would benefit from the use of a spotting scope.
You decide on the equipment you need, download and fill in the application form and submit for Opticron to review. At least one member will then be chosen to receive the requested equipment free of charge – and you or the nominated organisation get to keep the equipment. In return, Opticron want to see blog content, a short product review, tweets, Facebook and Instagram posts etc. so you need to explain what you’d be able to give in terms of coverage over a four to six week period after the equipment is supplied.
There is no specific restriction on the value of the equipment that can be requested but Opticron want to get value for money so bids need to be realistic. All entries will be acknowledged as received but only the winning bidder(s) will be corresponded with once chosen.
